We all love a little bit of classic rock every now and then, but luckily for those of us who are die-hard fans, we’ve got plenty of rock legends you can watch online right now. For some of us, these streamable dates will just be concerts, but for others, they were events that defined the genre.

From classic sing-along tracks to the tours that shaped the golden era of live music, we’ve lined up ten of the most awesome classic rock tours for you to stream so you can headbang at home all summer long.

10. Bachman & Turner – Live At The Roseland Ballroom NYC

The reunion show from Bachman & Turner in 2010 at New York’s Roseland Ballroom was absolute power-chord heaven, and you really have to watch it to appreciate the awesomeness of the night.

Of course, they dominated the set list with hits like “Takin’ Care of Business” and “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet,” but it was an absolute masterclass in musical ability and overall a great experience, even if you’re having to persuade loved ones why rock is great.

9. The Rolling Stones – Sticky Fingers Live At The Fonda

Okay, so a rock list wouldn’t be complete without at least one appearance from The Rolling Stones, and their night at the Fonda Theatre in LA during 2015 is one of our favourites. The slightly more intimate setting allowed fans to revel in the charisma of Mick Jagger whilst listening to classics like “Sway” and “Moonlight Mile.”

The beauty of the club-style venue is that you really feel as though you’re there, even when streaming the night online. It’s a must-watch for fans, but if you’re introducing anyone to the Stones, this is a great place to start.

8. Foreigner – Live At The Rainbow '78

For our number eight, we’re in London at the Rainbow Theatre with Foreigner in 1978. You get to experience tracks like “Cold as Ice” and “Feels Like the First Time” in a totally different way, as these guys were just at the beginning of their world domination.

It’s a really cool performance to stream if you’re a fan of Foreigner, as you get to see them in a bit of a different light, as it is an earlier performance, whilst getting a wonderful glimpse of late-70s rock theatre, which is always welcome in my book!

7. Toto – 40 Tours Around The Sun

Now we visit Toto on their anniversary tour in 2018, which was a glorious showcase of technical brilliance as well as an obvious chance to enjoy their greatest hits. 40 Tours Around The Sun is guaranteed to be a hit with any music lover.

Obviously, we get to hear “Africa” and “Rosanna” as well as “Hold the Line”, but really, this is just a chance to enjoy Toto at their best. The production is just perfection, and luckily, the crowd were fantastic, making it the perfect way to celebrate 40 years of Toto’s legendary hits.

6. Lynyrd Skynyrd – Live At Knebworth '76

We might not be in Alabama, but we are watching a 1976 Lynyrd Skynyrd set in front of 120,000 people in Knebworth, and it is fantastic! I’ve always thought the solo in “Free Bird” could give a person superpowers, but this performance honestly just reinforced my theory. If you love a bit of a vintage vibe with classic rock energy, then this is going to make your day.

Of course, other hits like “Sweet Home Alabama” and “Gimme Three Steps” are also major highlights in the setlist, but the whole performance just oozes the too-cool swagger of proper classic rock legends. Watch here and see how a show should be done!

5. Journey – Escape + Frontiers Live In Japan

2017, Tokyo, and hits like “Don’t Stop Believin’,” “Separate Ways,” and “Faithfully,” bring this performance up to spot five. Even if you’re not a rock fan, this is a night packed full of contagious nostalgia, sing-along moments, and some of the most memorable melodies of rock history.

Arenl Pineda really helps to bring a new sound to Steve Perry’s legacy, and of course, with Journey, you know the musical ability on display will just be out of this world. Watch the full performance here.

4. Mötley Crüe – The End: Live In Los Angeles

This one makes me a little bit emotional! New Year’s Eve in 2015 gave us Mötley Crüe’s farewell concert from the Staples Center, and of course, it’s jam-packed with fire, attitude, and one of the most emotional send-offs in rock history.

“Kickstart My Heart” and “Dr. Feelgood” are just a couple of the hits we get to enjoy, along with plenty of wild drum moments from Tommy Lee. It’s everything a glam metal send-off should be, and that is why it’s at number three. However, don’t be fooled, these guys are actually on tour right now, so whilst it feels like a big send off, they weren’t off the stage for long!

3. Chicago & Friends – Live at 55

What better way to mark their 55th anniversary than with plenty of guest appearances, deep cuts, and classics like “25 or 6 to 4” and “If You Leave Me Now.” Whilst Chicago is already well into their career during this 2022 show, they feel absolutely full of life during this show!

Watch the full show here and see how many friends join Chicago for the ultimate anniversary party!

2. 10cc – The Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour

There is always something special about a greatest hits tour, and this one is no exception! During The Ultimate Greatest Hits Tour, 10cc brings their biggest hits like “I’m Not in Love” and “The Dean and I” and shows us why they are so popular.

One of the best examples of pop experimentation balanced by a little classic rock, 10cc are so legendary that any music lover will appreciate streaming this incredible night. Better still, this is an unmissable performance as it is an On Air exclusive!

1. Def Leppard – Hits Vegas: Live At Planet Hollywood

It would be impossible to have this show anywhere else on the list, and once you watch it, you’ll totally understand why. Recorded during their 2019 residency in Vegas, we get over 20 tracks including “Pour Some Sugar On Me,” “Photograph,” and “Hysteria,” but since this is Las Vegas, you also get to witness some wild visuals and one of the greatest rock performances I’ve ever seen. Def Leppard really knocked it out of the park with this performance.

The boys certainly delivered more than just hits with their residency, and if you’re in the mood for a night of singing along to some classics, switch this on and get ready to party!

Bonus concert: for a Def Leppard double bill, there's also the perfect warm-up: One Night Only - Live At The Leadmill, the most intimate show the band has played in Europe in 35 years.
