About Bachman & Turner
Bachman & Turner are a Canadian rock duo comprising Randy Bachman and Fred Turner, both founding members of the iconic 1970s rock band Bachman-Turner Overdrive (BTO). Known for their powerful blend of hard rock, boogie, and blues, the two musicians are responsible for some of the most enduring rock anthems of all time, including ‘Takin' Care of Business’, ‘Let It Ride’, and ‘You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet’.
In 2009, after decades of working on separate projects, Randy and Fred reunited under the name Bachman & Turner. In 2010, they released a self-titled album, ‘Bachman & Turner’, their first new music together in over 20 years. The album brought back their signature style, packed with powerful riffs, catchy hooks, and the unmistakable vocals of Turner.
The pair embarked on a worldwide tour to support the album, and their performances were praised for their high energy. Despite not recording another album, the duo’s legacy has inspired generations of rock musicians such as Foo Fighters, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, The Black Keys, and more.
