The Three Tenors 'The Lost Concerts' - Documentary

Plácido Domingo, José Carreras, and Luciano Pavarotti - known collectively as The Three Tenors - redefined classical music for a global audience in the 1990s and early 2000s. Their debut at Rome’s ancient Baths of Caracalla at the 1990 FIFA World Cup Final, conducted by Zubin Mehta, became the best-selling classical album of all time and launched an international phenomenon.

Between 1996 and 2000, the trio brought their blend of opera and popular appeal to stadiums around the world, from Tokyo and London to New York and São Paulo. Seven of these legendary performances were recorded for television but disappeared into storage - until now.

C Major and 3 Tenors Inc. recovered and restored the highlights from six of these long-lost concerts, offering fans a rare opportunity to experience renditions of ‘Nessun dorma’, ‘O Sole Mio’, and more.
