Margarethe Wallmann’s 1958 production of Giacomo Puccini’s Tosca has become a symbol of operatic tradition, with its original sets and costumes by Nicola Benois serving as the backdrop for generations of performances at the Vienna State Opera.

Conducted by Bertrand de Billy, this storied 2-hour production continues with internationally acclaimed artists making their Viennese role debuts - Anna Netrebko as Tosca, Yusif Eyvazov as Cavaradossi, and Wolfgang Koch as Scarpia.
