About Kit Armstrong

Born in 1992 in Los Angeles, Kit Armstrong is an American pianist, composer, and polymath who began composing at the age of five. He studied at the Royal Academy of Music, Imperial College London, and Pierre-and-Marie-Curie University (Paris VI), receiving degrees in both music and mathematics.  

The musician went on to perform with world-class orchestras and conductors, including Riccardo Chailly and Kent Nagano.  

Beyond his pianist performances, Armstrong is also an accomplished composer, with works spanning solo, chamber, and orchestral music - often drawing from historical and theoretical themes. In 2012, Armstrong purchased and restored Sainte-Thérèse-de-l'Enfant-Jésus in Hirson, France, transforming it into a cultural venue for concerts, exhibitions, and musical events.
