Cited as one of the Top 100 Living Geniuses by the Daily Telegraph (2017), Hans Zimmer is best known for film scores and music productions, with over 200 projects under his belt. His work, when combined, has grossed more than 28 billion dollars at the worldwide box office.  

The German-born American musician often fuses electronic sounds with traditional orchestral arrangements. Since the 1980s, he has scored over 150 films, winning two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for The Lion King (1994) and Dune: Part One (2021). Other works include blockbusters Gladiator, The Last Samauri, the Pirates of the Caribbean series, The Dark Knight trilogy, Inception, Thelma and Louise, Interstellar, Dunkirk, Blade Runner, No Time to Die, and the Dune series.  

Zimmer spent much of his early career in the UK before heading to the US, stepping into the role as Head of Film Music Division at DreamWorks Pictures and DreamWorks Animation studios. In 2019, Zimmer completed the highly successful Hans Zimmer Live tour stops across Asia and Australia, as well as a European tour in February 2022. 

Over the years, Zimmer has collaborated with other world-leading composers through his business venture Remote Control Productions (formerly Media Ventures) where he currently produces his film scores.
