Originally opened as the Air Canada Centre in February 1999, Scotiabank Arena is a central landmark in Toronto’s live entertainment and sporting landscape. It adopted its current name on 1 July 2018 and has since been recognised with over 40 industry awards for accessibility, sustainability, box office service and fan experience.
Set within the restored shell of the former Toronto Postal Delivery Building, the venue blends architectural heritage with modern design. Owned and operated by Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment, it serves as home to both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Raptors. The arena has hosted over 2,600 events and welcomed more than 39 million fans since opening.
In 2015, Scotiabank Arena launched its ICONS programme to honour artists who have shaped its entertainment history. Madonna was among the inaugural inductees, recognised as the top performing female artist in the venue’s history.
