Skrillex, born Sonny John Moore in 1988 in Los Angeles, is an American DJ, record producer and musician known for revolutionising electronic dance music.

Starting out as the lead singer of post-hardcore band From First to Last, he transitioned into producing, bringing high-energy dubstep to the forefront of mainstream music.
