Dutch musician Hardwell (real name Robbert van de Corput) has embarked on an explosive career, achieving massive success as a DJ, producer, remixer, label owner, and filmmaker in modern electronic music. The former two-time World No.1 DJ (voted by DJ Mag) has earned countless Beatport No.1’s with original dancefloor beats ‘Spaceman’, ‘Apollo’ and ‘Run Wild’, alongside remixing pop stars like Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Ellie Goulding, Moby, and Coldplay.
Hardwell has worked alongside Craig David, Jay Sean, Austin Mahone, and Jason Derulo to deliver smash-hit crossover tracks and collaborated with fellow legendary DJs Armin van Buuren, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, and Tiësto. His acclaimed 2015 album ‘United We Are’ reached No.2 on the iTunes worldwide album chart.
Alongside the hits, Hardwell is well-known as the headline attraction on some of the world’s biggest main stages, including Lollapalooza, Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Creamfields, Untold Festival, EXIT Festival, Ultra Music Festival, and Tomorrowland. The DJ has also embarked on two world tours, I Am Hardwell in 2014/15 and I Am Hardwell – United We Are in 2015/16, which concluded in 62 shows across 21 counties, with 897,617 fans in attendance. Sold-out venues include London’s Brixton Academy and New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Hardwell has established a solid online presence throughout his career, building a social following of over 23 million and over 1.2 billion hits on YouTube. After a 4-year hiatus, Hardwell returned with his 14-track album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’ in 2022, featuring club-worthy singles ‘BROKEN MIRROR’, ‘INTO THE UNKNOWN’, ‘I FEEL LIKE DANCING’, ‘GOOD’ and ‘LASER’.
In 2024, Hardwell released his big room anthem ‘Oldskool Sound’ followed swiftly by two star-studded collaboration singles - one with Bassjackers titled ‘Energy‘ and one with Blasterjaxx and Maddix named ‘16’.

Hardwell has one MTV European Music Award and multiple International Dance Music awards under his belt. He’s also won 2 World No.1 DJ titles, Best Electro House DJ at the DJ Awards in Ibiza, Best Global DJ at the IDMA awards and Best DJ at the Nova Era Awards.
Where is Hardwell from?
Born and raised in Breda, a city tucked deep within the Netherlands, Hardwell began producing electronic music at the age of fourteen.
Does Hardwell own a record label?
Yes! Hardwell founded Revealed Recordings in 2010 alongside a radio show and podcast Hardwell On Air, in 2011. The DJ has released ten compilation albums, including his 14-track album ‘REBELS NEVER DIE’, and two documentary films on the label.
What other projects has Hardwell worked on?
Alongside his artistic endeavours, Hardwell also created the United We Are Foundation. The project featured two aid concerts in Mumbai’s DY Patil Stadium in 2015 and 2017, labelled the 'World's Biggest Guestlist'. Over the two aid concerts, more than 145,000 people attended, and over 20 million watched via the live streams on the night.
