Quote from the artist

Olly Alexander, Years & Years

“I’m so happy and excited to share this performance from the Night Call Tour. I grew up loving concert videos of Britney, the Spice Girls and Madonna so this is literally a dream come true. This show, created with Theo Addams, is a delirious night out that begins in a phone box and ends with a cosmic impalement (there are toilet cubicles, motorbikes, a magic chair and a giant bed along the way). I had the best time".

About Years & Years

Originally a London-based indie-pop collective - Olly Alexander, Mikey Goldsworthy, and Emre Turkmen - Years & Years shot to stardom with their album 'Communion’, which reached No.1 on the UK Album Chart in 2015 and became the fastest-selling debut from a UK band that year.

Celebrating the release of ‘Communion’, the trio made history with a world-first interactive ad break takeover on Channel 4. Three exclusive music videos for the track ‘Shine’ were filmed specially for the ad break, encouraging fans to ‘take control’ by tweeting the hashtag for the video they most wanted to see: #ChooseLight, #ChooseShadow or #ChooseDark. Years & Years received four Brit Award nominations the following year, including British Group, British Breakthrough Act, British Single, and British Artist Video for their worldwide hit ‘King’.

Following a series of chart-toppers, ‘Sanctify’, ‘If You’re Over Me’, and ‘Palo Santo’ in 2018, ‘Sanctify’ debuted at No.3 in the UK Album Chart. In March 2021, Years & Years announced that their third studio album ‘Night Call’ would be a solo project by Alexander released under the band name. Mikey continued to play live as an instrumentalist and Emre as the songwriter and producer. The all-new solo songs were released that year, including ‘Starstruck’, ‘Crave’, and ‘A Second to Midnight’ featuring pop icon Kylie Minogue.

A few star-studded collaborations later, Years & Years headlined the Mighty Hoopla music festival in 2023. Later, the BBC announced that Alexander would represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 with his self-penned dance track ‘Dizzy’ alongside performing and releasing new music independently under his name – Olly Alexander (Years & Years).
