Gallagher’s High Flying Birds homecoming gig in Manchester, available on demand for fans worldwide.
Recorded in stunning 4K UHD with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies, the band’s August Bank Holiday sold out show – recorded in Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park – will be available to stream from 21 September.
The Manchester gig forms part of the UK leg of the band’s tour, having recently returned from the USA where they did 26 dates, co-headlining with Garbage. This huge homecoming performance was Noel’s largest ever solo headline show, experienced by over 30,000 fans on the night. It will be followed by European dates and a full UK arena tour in December.
The show saw Noel and the band perform their new single ‘Open The Door, See What You Find’, which follows the singles ‘Pretty Boy’, ‘Easy Now’ and the recent title track ‘Council Skies’.
A decade since the formation of High Flying Birds, ‘Council Skies’ produced by Noel and Paul ‘Strangeboy’ Stacey, is the band’s fourth studio album, released on Sour Mash Records. The album was greeted with a wave of acclaim from fans and critics alike and is widely regarded as Noel’s most complete solo statement to date.
