Def Leppard and Mötley Crüe are joining forces for Rock the Tides, a hard rock destination festival in Riveria Maya, Mexico, this winter. From 7 - 9 November 2025, the luxurious beachfront event will also feature sets from Poison's frontman Bret Micheals, Velvet Daydream, Living Colour, Extreme, and more.

Festivalgoers have the choice to stay at two separate all-inclusive 5-star resorts, the adults-only Barceló Riveria Maya or Barceló Riveria Grand, with each package including a resort room, unlimited food and beverages, access to all the shows, and transportation to and from the airport.

Fans can also opt for ‘add-on’ off-site excursions such as catamaran rides, snorkelling, swimming in cenotes (underground freshwater pools) and “cultural explorations”.

Speaking to Rolling Stone Mötley Crüe said: “Mexico has always been one of the most electric places we’ve played — the energy is just unreal,” The collective continues “Some of our most unforgettable shows have happened there, and we know this one will be no different. We’re excited to head back, team up with Def Leppard, and throw one hell of a party for everyone making the trip. It’s going to be an epic night.”

Festination’s Donnie Estopinal adds: “This experience goes way beyond the show — it’s a weekend in paradise, a dream vacation with intimate performances from two legendary bands,” continuing “We’re pushing the boundaries of what a live event can be, and this is one fans will never forget.”

Prospective ticket buyers can pay in full, split costs with friends, or put down as little as 10 percent of the price.
