Originally released in 1982 in VHS format, 'Around The World' shows footage from the band's first worldwide tour in 1979 and 1980. Restored & expanded, the film uses remastered audio and restored pictures from the original release.

In addition to footage of The Police performing, the documentary shows behind-the-scenes clips and the trio exploring the places they visited on tour, including Japan, Hong Kong, Australia, India, Egypt, Greece, France, South America, and the US.
