About Anne-Marie
Born and raised in Tilbury, Essex, Anne-Marie first made waves as a three-time world karate champion and West End child star.
Following a series of chart-smashing singles, from her Ed Sheeran co-write ‘2002’ to her sweet bop ‘PSYCHO’ - Anne-Marie is best known for her playful commentary, intricate storytelling, powerful vocals and infectious personality, all revealed in her 2018 debut album ‘Speak Your Mind’ (that years’ biggest debut release in the UK, selling over 40 million copies globally).
Anne-Marie made her prime-time debut as a coach on The Voice in 2021, followed by the release of her second hit album ‘THERAPY’. The Mind Charity ambassador has continually campaigned for the conversation surrounding mental health, reflected on her social platforms, YouTube documentary titled ‘How to be Anne-Marie’, her book ‘You Deserve Better’, and fronting ITV’s Britain Get Talking campaign in 2021. Her third album ‘Unhealthy’ reached number two in the UK Album Charts and number one in Scotland.
Throughout her meteoric music career, Anne-Marie has scored several songs in the UK Singles Chart, including Clean Bandit’s ‘Rockabye’ (featuring Sean Paul), ‘Alarm’, ‘Ciao Adios’, ‘Friends’, and ‘2002’. She’s also earned status as a BRIT Critics Choice finalist, 9x BRIT Award nominee, an official ambassador of The Princes Trust and much more.
