Synchron Stage, Vienna

Established in 1939, the Synchron Stage is a recording facility based in Austria’s classical capital, Vienna. The venue combines a scoring stage with studios, isolation booths, lounges, and office space. It provides cutting-edge technology and acoustics (such as Dolby Atmos in Auro-3D, Stereo, and Surround) for pioneering leaders in music, from chamber and big symphony orchestras to choirs, rock bands, jazz artists, and more.

The venue has a wealth of history behind it, notably constructed by National Socialists between 1939 and 1941 for picture-synchronised sound production. The main hall accommodates the in-house Synchron Stage Orchestra (an ensemble of the world’s finest instrumentalists), performing symphonies from Beethoven, Mozart, Dvořák, and Brahms alongside film scores.

The Synchron Stage is well-known for its film fixtures, offering recordings for national and international productions such as Netflix, Sony Pictures Entertainment, Marvel Studios, and Terra Mater Factual Studios. The recent library of projects includes The Meg (2018), Ad Astra (2019), Promising Young Woman (2020), WandaVision (2021), Hawkeye (2021), and more.
